Hi guys.

Hoping you guys who are from New Orleene and in an around there a safe time as you go through the Hurricane and obvously everyone is safe and no one injured or properties damaged.

A few days ago. People on here are obviously not from New Orleene. I've trying to chase up some stories about it but they're reluctant to say anything.

Isaac hit the Gulf Coast between LA, and FL, with most of the damage near New orleans. Hundredsw of thousands have been without power since tuesday and Wednesday. While the improvements made to the levy system since Katrina helped, the slow moving nature of Isaac dumped over 16 inches of rain in various parts of the Gulf coast resulting in total loss of, and damage to many homes. Some homes were completely under water. There have been deaths but I'm not sure how many.
I'm not from that area but have family in Mississippi so have been following the storm news.
